Update January 1st, 2023I’m seeing a lot of people saying that they are having issues with this staying stuck on their phone case. I have the opposite problem, I was going to try and align the ring on the case and I can’t get it off. I complained about the wrong color and the company sent me a box of black rings. I’m getting ready to upgrade the case anyway , so I’ll do a better job of alignment with the ring. The case, which is made by Miracase and is available for a great price here on Amazon. It’s a good deal as I have dropped my phone already and just knew it broke my screen , but it didn’t . It just lets too much pocket lint and other things into the case.Original review:The iPhone cases we have are made with a glass back and a glass front protector that is MagSafe . They work great for the Apple MagSafe disc, but I purchased two of the magnetic battery packs from Amazon and they were just too heavy for the phone. I think the glass is just too thick or something and the battery packs would not stay on the back of our iPhone 13 mini phones. I decided that I would try a metal ring on the case and it worked perfectly. I also thought that I had ordered these in the black color , but I received the silver ones. I got one extra ring that was black and it was just an extra one in the box. These work fine, however the one I put on my husbands iPhone came off with the battery pack twice. I did a really thorough cleaning on the glass case and it seems to have worked. Now he has problems with getting the battery pack off the iPhone. We intentionally purchased the glass cases as we purchase the Apple “Red” products whenever possible. I thought it would be a shame to buy the red phone and hide it in a solid case.The set comes with a special paper guide that you can use to get the ring on centered with, but I didn’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work on the outside of the case. I honestly didn’t want to stick it to the iPhone and I don’t know if it would have worked any better than on the outside. The internal magnetic ring didn’t seem to work, so I decided to just stick it on the outside of the case instead. The case and the camera protection lens covers also came from Amazon. I have done reviews of both items and other than a few issues with the case design, the whole set up now works very well. The paper installation guide was something that I didn’t use. I just removed the paper on the ring , layer it on the battery pack and stuck it to the back of the phone case. It’s slightly off center, but it’s where the battery pack wants to stay on the phone the best.We generally buy the iPhone SE, but it got a lot of negative reviews from other users. I don’t like or want a large phone as I have had one and I broke the screen the first month I got it. I bent over to pick up something off the floor and I heard it snap. We use our iPhones as phones and rarely use them for anything else. So, I just don’t want a large phone. We have iPad Pros for everything else and a 2022 MacBook Pro for our office, but it doesn’t get much use, so it was kind of a waste of money. The larger screen phones are just too big and they don’t fit in my pocket well. It’s almost like having an iPad mini with phone features. I occasionally look up a restaurant menu on my iPhone, but I call and order the food through our SUV.For the price, these are really good, just not the color I thought I was getting. My husband doesn’t care about the color and he has the silver one on his. You get 5, but I got 6 and it was black. Also, the silver one helps us keep the phones with the right person.
