I was looking for a 4 or 5 foot USB to USB-C charging cable as mine are all too long or very short. When I came across the VOFUOE USB to USB C Cable, I had never seen anything like this before - it's got rainbow colors and is covered with rhinestones. I'm an over-50 woman who doesn't buy a lot of girly stuff, but for some reason, this caught my eye, and I thought "Why not?"It arrived in a small, clear zipper bag. Most of the length of the cable was in a transparent plastic sleeve, I suppose to protect the sparklies. I removed the sleeve and checked the bag and sleeve for loose rhinestones, but there were no loose stones at all. The cable had a slight but not chemically smell that didn't bother me even though I'm usually pretty sensitive to smells. This cable is heavier than other USB cables, but I expected that as it's literally covered with rhinestones.I plugged it into a USB power block; it was a snug but not tight fit. I tried it on my phone and a tablet, and it charged them pretty rapidly - faster than the old cables, one of which is supposedly a fast charging cable.One thing I do want to mention is that although the cable would make a nice gift for someone who loves colors and sparkle, but the packaging is not suitable for gifting. I'd definitely get a small gift bag or box if you want the receiver to get a little more excitement when first seeing it.So far, I'm happy with this cable. It charges as fast as the cable I used to use to charge my phone, it's the perfect length for my needs at 4 feet, and I must admit, on a shelf full of mostly black electronics, it adds a little sparkle of magic and the colors really catch the eye. It makes me feel a little happier to see it there. If anything changes, I'll update this review, but right now, i'm satisfied with my new USB to USB-C cable.UPDATE: After 4 months, this cable is still going strong. None of the sparkly stones have come off, and I use it in my bedroom every day to charge my phone.
